How do I book the pigeon?

Simply fill out our online booking form, make a bird call, or email us. We will contact you by phone or email as promptly as possible.

Do travel rates apply?

If we have to flap our wings more than 25 km from our nesting zone of St Kilda, a small travel rate applies.

How safe are the paints you use and how do I wash them off?

We use non-toxic, hyper allergenic, water-based Kryolan paints. Easy to wash off with water and mild soap or face wipes

Are there minimum booking hours?

Yes, usually 2 hours for distances up to 25 kms from St Kilda. Please ask us for our minimum booking times in excess of this

How do I pay the pigeon?

Cash or direct deposit. A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking. After 3 days of your inquiry for a specific date, without the deposit, the booking will lapse. We do this as we may receive other event inquiries and a commitment deposit for the same date.

Oops! …What if I need to cancel or change the date of my event?

If our schedule permits, a date change may be possible if we receive the request 5 days or more prior to your event at no extra charge. The 50% deposit is not refundable for cancellations less than 5 days prior to your event as we may have turned down another job to hold your booking.
There is no cancellation fee if we receive the request in writing five days or more prior to your event. We will email you within 24 hours of receiving your cancellation request & your money will be returned (if you haven’t received a reply within 24hrs please call us as it means we haven’t received your email).

Do you have Working With Children & Police checks?

Yes, available upon request

Do you have Public Liability Insurance?

Yes, we are insured for up to $20 000 000. Copy available upon request

Are you a registered business?

Yes. We are listed on the Australian Business names register (ABN: 91610115059)

How many faces can you paint in an hour?

Keeping in mind that the amount of detail affects the time it takes to paint a face…detail can be either increased or decreased to suit your event’s needs and budget.

Typically, we can paint per hour:

  • 10 – 12 full face designs
  • 18 + cheek art (smaller designs)
  • 20 + temporary/glitter tattoos designs

What equipment is supplied?

We arrive fully prepared with tables, chairs, & face painting supplies. If you are holding an outdoor event, we may require a shaded, less windy area

Can you stay longer at my event if needed? (For example, more guests than expected arrive)

Yes, provided we have sufficient time to get to our next booking. With your confirmation (request) for us to stay later, we’ll simply charge any additional time on a half hour basis after your originally scheduled finish time.
